HMQuartet Winter Tour

HMQ visits universities, high schools, and other venues in PHOENIX, AZ; SAN DIEGO/LA, CA; SEATTLE/TACOMA, WA for three weeks in February and March of 2018!

HMQ is the guest chamber ensemble for the Society of Composers, Inc. National Conference at the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA!!

HMQ will premiere a concerto by Paul Alan Price-Brenner with the UPS Wind Ensemble, Gerard Morris, conductor at the SCI conference. A project supported in part by the Iowa Arts Council.

HMQ performs a concert at San Diego State University with the Percussion Ensemble, Greg Cohen, director.

This concert will feature Gordon Stout's marimba orchestra piece, "Dream-Awakening and Dance" and Gottschalk's "Grand Tarantella" with students of SDSU and other community percussionists.

HMQ is back in Iowa for premiere performances of a concerto for marimba quartet and wind ensemble by Paul Alan Price-Brenner.

ANKENY, WATERLOO WEST, & DAVENPORT CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL BANDS will perform the new Price-Brenner Concerto with HMQ.

The concerto project is supported in part by the Iowa Arts Council.
